Le Musée Goya - musée d'art hispanique

The museum is located in the old Bishop's Palace, built in 1675, based on the design of Jules Hardouin-Mansart, an architect of the Palace of Versailles.

The gardens were designed by André Le Nôtre, who also worked at Versailles.
In 1947, under the name of Musée Goya, it became the only museum of Spanish paintings from the fourteenth/fifteenth centuries to modern times, in France.
